About Our BC Salmon Fishing Charter
Fishing is more than my job; it‘s my passion. I feel really lucky to work
at something that blends my two favourite pastimes: fishing, and the ocean
experience in Northern BC.
I set up this company in 2000 and operate from Prince Rupert, British Columbia,
Canada. As owner-operator, I guide my clients in some of the richest fishing
grounds in the world.
Outside of the sportsfishing season, I‘m captain on a deep-sea trawler. I have
logged a lot of sea time in this area, and I believe my experience and my local
knowledge is second to none, giving my guests a big advantage – to see what I mean check out my

Fishing With Deep Sea
My aim is to send you home with fish and great memories, and I will do
everything I can to make your fishing trip as productive and enjoyable
as possible. Because fishing patterns change, each fishing day is unique.
I‘m extremely careful with my fishing plan and I am always on the lookout
for the subtle indicators that signal change. We will discuss what you want
to fish when you book, and we‘ll finalize the plan before departure, taking
into account the most current data.
Prince Rupert Fishing Charters
Every BC salmon fishing charter is a private charter, and my boat, Ocean Slayer, is chartered
by the day. I can take a maximum of four guests. This number lets me give your halibut fishing and salmon
fishing party the best and safest experience. If you number more than four,
I will arrange a group charter for as many boats as necessary. Typically, we
travel and fish together, and guests have a great time.
My boat is a Grady White. It‘s fast, and in my book it‘s the best boat for

Salmon & Halibut Fishing Charter
I offer either full day or half-day charters. A full day is ten (10)
hours, dock-to-dock, and a half-day is five (5) hours. In addition to the
fishing experience, you will also take home an ocean experience that almost
always includes wildlife. Though I can‘t guarantee wildlife sightings, we
nearly always see bald eagles and, depending on the season and where‘re we‘re
fishing, we may also see seals, sea lions, porpoises, and maybe even orca
or humpback whales.
I welcome novices, including children, and get a lot of pleasure in sharing
the art and the adventure with those new to Prince Rupert fishing.
All Equipment Supplied
I supply all the equipment you‘ll need, from tackle and bait through to
flotation devices and rain gear. I clean and bag your catch, and I‘ll help
you connect with the local processor to package your catch to take home.
All you need to bring is your Tide Water Sports Fishing License, lunch,
beverages – and don‘t forget your camera and a sence of humor! Happy fishing!
